The following is a product review and giveaway written by Kelly at Couponer's Corner.

Over the last week, my husband and I have been "testing" Noxicare Natural Pain Relief Cream.  We have been more consious about using natural products and wanted to give this a shot as well. We read about the product online and learned that this product contains:  tumeric, ginger, willow bark, rosemary extract,  holy basil, boswellia extract,  and alpha lipoic acids.  Of course, we wanted to know how it would work.  I knew I wanted to try this when I read the following (taken from www.noxicare.com):

	Turmeric "One of the most powerful natural pain relievers known to exist; recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is a powerful herb in the ginger family that contains curcumin as its active ingredient. Ginger is an effective anti-inflammatory agent used for thousands of years to alleviate arthritis, headaches, rheumatism and sore throat, while also naturally relieving muscle strains and knee pains experienced by athletes. The medicinal part of ginger is the rhizome, an underground stem that most people refer to as the root. Western herbalists classify ginger as a carminative, which settles the intestine and eases pain by removing gas from the digestive tract. This versatile and useful herb also serves as a catalyst for improving the effectiveness of other natural pain relieving herbs found in Noxicare™."
	Rosemary Extract "Has served a variety of purposes including topical use for joint or musculoskeletal pain. Ancient Egyptians knew to relieve musculoskeletal pain by rubbing rosemary extract oil into their skin. Today, rosemary has become important due to its natural pain relief ability, as well as stimulate hair growth, boost mental activity and relieve respiratory problems."
	Holy Basil "Properties include anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and antiviral. Holy Basil is a plant indigenous to India and extremely well-regarded as beneficial for many different health problems. Holy basil inhibits inflammatory-causing enzymes that contribute to arthritis and other types of pain caused by inflammation. Holy basil has antimicrobial and anti-viral properties, and expectorant properties as well, useful in respiratory tract infections and during respiratory stress."
	Boswellia Extract "Boswellia is a genus of trees native to India known for their fragrant resin which has many pharmacological uses, particularly as an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. Boswellia extracts and oils have been used to treat back pain and has been compared in effectiveness to steroids in treating Crohn’s disease and other intestinal problems—without causing ulcers like aspirin family medications."
	Alpha Lipoic Acids "Antioxidants used for treating diabetic neuropathy and increasing blood flow to the nerves. Acid Alpha Lipoic Acid is a natural pain relief antioxidant made by every cell in the body, and is also found in foods such as red meats and spinach. It is well known for its proven pain relieving abilities, particularly against numbness, burning and pain often associated with diabetic neuropathy. ALA also helps vitamins C and E work better, and is used to treat and detox the liver."

The Review:  Both of us expierence mild back pain so we both used the cream for that.  My husband found the cream to be a little on the oily side, odorless, and effective.  He told me his pain was reduced after the first 3-4 days.  He generally uses a cream that provides heat and has a strong odor; so I think he was pleasantly suprised to have results from a new product. I used the cream on my back as well.  I typically have back pain on and off...but nothing "chronic".  I used the cream and also found that it reduced the overall level of pain I was expierencing a little each day.  I am not a fan of the "burn your skin off" pain creams that my husband typically uses.  It's just too much for me-it burns!  I was greatful to have a product that didn't burn my skin-or have an overwhelming smell. I also tested this product on my wrists.  Both of my wrists have some arthritis pain in them and the cream worked on them within minutes.  I don't have severe arthritis-just some achiness on a daily basis.  I was thrilled that it seemed to knock the pain out within about a half an hour.  Of course, I am a frugal blogger-so it only makes sense that my review would include a way for you to save money on this product.  Noxicare has a tab on their Facebook page that says "Save on Noxicare".  Just click that and enter your email and name.  They will send a confirmation to your email address.  You will then be signed up for the Noxicare Natural Pain Relief e Newslettter and you will receive exclusive discounts!  Disclosure:  Couponer's Corner is not liable for prize shipment.  I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
