I'm not sure if this is where I'm supposed to leave a comment, but my husband and I were amused by the "Extreme Couponing" show on TLC. But I went to my first swap to see what it was all about and realized that 10 here, 25 there...my savings started to add up. It was cool.
I also not to long ago watched some of the TLC Extreme Coupoing show and thought wow...I want to do that. My youngest daughter is having her second child and I thought this would be something good to get her into to help out her growing family. I said I would be happy just saving 30% of my grocery bill if I could and I have done that a few times...I love couponing.
I started couponing to stretch the monthly budget when my husband became sick & could no longer work. The income dropped but the expenses didn't. It has helped to me us to be able to make ends meet.
I started couponing because our family budget was getting tight. I haven't had a raise in over 5 years and everything has went up. Its a thrill to see what I save..
I started to save my family money we went from two incomes down to one income...after the mental hospital i worked in closed so saving as much as i could was my main goal...We havent bought shampoo toothpaste deodorant toothbrushes air freshners body wash or pads in over a year...all from stockpiling...I have enough canned vegatables to last forever...i have a good stockpile...going to last all this because of coupons....I love them...but i am no where near the paying pratically nothing for my grocery orders....that is what i would love to be able to do spend $2000 on groceries and only pay a very small fraction...that is my goal...one day will achieve this...thanks for this great giveaway
