So you just clipped all those lovely new coupons...you scan the circulars looking for that perfect deal...and there it jumps out at you but wait!...there might be something better that has yet to come in those deals! Granted there is an awesome deal this week at CVS with all those Suave coupons but chances are the other coupons that you are dying to use might need to be kept in your organizer for another week or two! When I started couponing I couldn't wait to use all of those brand new coupons that I have just clipped and get a sweet deal that week I went shopping but then I thought there might be even a better deal the following week. I started holding on to specific ones like Colgate Toothpaste coupons just to see what different sales my local grocery store had. One week it was 2/$6...the following week it was 2/$4...I had two coupons that each doubled to $1.50...which made each tube of toothpaste .50! I remember being sooooo excited about getting toothpaste so cheap that I called my husband to let him know. Never in my lifetime did I ever think I would get toothpaste that cheap. After that deal I started to not burn a whole in my coupon organizer to see if I could get a better deal down the road. So far I have been able to get several products for free or almost free by waiting a week or two. I have missed some good deals but I know another one will come along and will do my "happy coupon" dance when it does! I am definitely still a newbie at couponing and so far it has been an incredible learning experience for me... So the next time you are dying to burning a hole in your coupon organizer...wait! but if you can't no problem you are still getting the best bang for your saving bucks!
