So what is a peelie? a blinkie and a tear-off? Well before I started couponing I had no idea but once I did...I started searching the aisles high and low! So what kind of coupon lingo are these? Well...a peelie is the one that you "peel" off a box, a bottle or even bag...a blinkie is that little black machine you see blinking a red light pretty much staring right at you...and a tear-off is that little pad of paper usually right in front of a particular product screaming "tear me off and save some money!" These days I find myself when I walk down an aisle looking for one of these three ways to get that extra coupon that I might need for that shopping trip or to tuck away in my binder for a future shopping trip. Recently my son has discovered Nutella and searched the net high and low for a coupon but had no luck in finding one. The following week when I was shopping I noticed a big display for Nutella which happened to be on sale BUT what caught my was the tear off pad! The coupon was save $1 on 1...score! not only was it on sale but now I had a coupon to "stack" on top of the store sale...so I ended saving $1.99! I was rather happy about it! So the next time you are shopping take a look around the aisles to see if you happen to run into one of these three ways to get a coupon...you never know what you will find!
Happy Couponing!
